Introduction
The National Stock Exchange had launched a new asset class for trading - USDINR Currency Futures on 29th August 2008 by the hands of Shri P Chidambaram, the then Hon'ble Union Finance Minister. The new currency pairs EUR-INR, GBP-INR and JPY-INR have also been allowed with effect Feb 2010.
