Sub: Settlement of corporate benefits

This is further to our circular no. NSCCL/SEC/2008/11689 dated November 27, 2008 regarding the rescheduling of settlements. Members are hereby requested to take note of the following securities in which corporate benefits were announced.

In view of the rescheduling of settlements in the above cases, it is likely that members/investors that were entitled to receive corporate benefits may not receive the same from the company. In order to address this issue NSCCL shall be carrying out a funds settlement of corporate benefits in respect of such of those deliveries that are settled through NSCCL. NSCCL shall announce a settlement calendar for the purpose of effecting the settlement of corporate benefits.

Members are hereby advised to –

• suitably inform their clients who were scheduled to receive deliveries
• to take necessary steps vis a vis their clients to facilitate the settlement of corporate benefits based on the settlement calendar to be announced by NSCCL
• effect funds payin for the purpose of corporate benefit settlement in accordance with the NSCCL settlement calendar.
