Subject: Change in Symbol- JSTAINLESS

In pursuance of circular no NSE/F&O/114/2008 dated October 14, 2008 (Download ref. no. NSE/FAOP/11487) members are hereby informed that all positions in futures and options contracts in the underlying security JSTAINLESS (Jindal Stainless Limited) will be carried forward with the underlying symbol JSL (JSL Limited), with effect from October 23, 2008.

All the reports pertaining to October 22, 2008 will be containing the current symbol JSTAINLESS and with effect from October 23, 2008 the reports will be containing the new symbol JSL.

The portfolio files provided for October 23, 2008 will be containing the new symbol JSL.
