Sub: Categorization and Margins applicable for ‘NHPC’.

This is with reference to Item 11 of our consolidated circular no. NSCCL/SEC/2008/0486 dated September 10, 2008 (Download Ref No: NSE/CMPT/11274).

The security NHPC Limited (NHPC) shall be categorized under Group I for the purpose of VaR Margins. The VaR Margin & the Extreme Loss Margin rate applicable for the security shall be 7.5 % & 5 % respectively.

The above circular shall be effective from September 1, 2009.
