Dear Members,

Trading holiday & change of Expiry date for Derivatives contracts.

Pursuant to November 27, 2008 being declared as a trading holiday, members are requested to note that all derivatives contracts having expiry date as 27NOV2008 will now mature on 28NOV2008. Consequently, the last trading day for November month contract will be 28NOV2008. Members can view contract descriptor (Shift +F8) of such contracts on the trading terminals to confirm the last trading day.

New contract.gz file shall be made available to trading members on the NSE Extranet on November 27, 2008 (Path : /faoftp/faocommon and /common/ntneat). Members are advised to upload the new contract.gz file before trading on November 28, 2008 to be able to trade in the November month contracts. After uploading the new contract.gz file, members shall be able to view the last trading day for November month contracts on the trading terminals. Derivatives contracts for the month of February 2009 shall be introduced with effect from December 01, 2008.
