Dear Members,

 

Introduction of futures and options contracts on

Nifty Midcap 50 Index

 

In continuation to the circular NSE/F&O/086/2007 dated September 27, 2007, members are advised to note that futures and options contracts will be introduced on Nifty Midcap 50 index for trading in F&O segment w.e.f. October 05, 2007.

 

Members are advised to note that the symbol in the contract descriptor and the corresponding market lot in futures and options segment for the said index shall be as follows:

The contract specification and list of contracts available for trading in Nifty Midcap 50 is given in Annexure 1.

 

The new contracts will be available for trading from Friday, October 05, 2007. Members are requested to take the latest contract.gz, security.gz and fo_participant.gz files from NSE EXTRANET, directory:/faoftp/faocommon before commencing trading on October  05, 2007. A detailed list of new contracts introduced for trading (file name:CONTRACT04102007.CSV) will be available on the path faoftp/faocommon/Contracts on October 04, 2007 after market hours.
