Dear Members,

Introduction of MINIFTY (mini derivative futures & options) contracts

on S&P CNX Nifty Index

With reference to circular numbers NSE/F&O/118/2007 dated December 27, 2007 and NSE/F&O/120/2007 dated December 28, 2007, members may kindly note the lot size and details of contracts being provided in MINIFTY w.e.f. January 1, 2008:

Strike prices on which Call and Put contracts having expiry dates of 31-Jan-2008, 28-Feb-2008 & 27-Mar-2008 would be available for trading:

5850, 5900, 5950, 6000, 6050, 6100, 6150, 6200, 6250, 6300, 6350, 6400 & 6450

Members are advised to pick up the latest contract.gz, security.gz and fo_participant.gz files from NSE EXTRANET directory:/faoftp/faocommon and upload the same in NEAT F&O before trading on January 1, 2008 to enable them to trade in MINIFTY contracts. The latest files shall be available on the EXTRANET after the close of trading hours on December 31, 2007. If the latest files are not picked up and uploaded in NEAT F&O, members will not be able to setup, view and trade in MINIFTY contracts.
