Sub: Launch of Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management Module

‘Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management Module’ is being launched under NCFM which aims at providing an overview of the various investment instruments in the financial markets with details on evaluating investment opportunities to satisfy risk-return objectives of investors.

The ‘Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management Module’ test would contain 60 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. The passing percentage would be 60% There would be negative marking (25% of the marks deducted if question answered wrongly). The fees for the module would be Rs. 1500/- per test.

For on-line registration, payment of fees and enrollment for this module, candidates can log on to www.nseindia.com, under ‘NCFM Online’ link. On-line payment can be made by cash/credit card/debit card/net banking.

Alternatively, the prescribed registration form can also be collected from the nearest NSE office or it can be downloaded from our website www.nseindia.com. In case of offline registration, mode of payment would be demand draft only, payable at respective NSE branch office and drawn in favour of ‘National Stock Exchange of India Limited’.

It may be noted that this module would be considered as one of the qualifying modules for the Fee Discount Scheme as well as for NCMP certification.

This circular is effective from today.
