(For those who have not given any Module of NCFM tests before).
Download the form from the link given above and print it. There are 2 pages in
the form. Please print both the pages. Instructions are given on sheet 2. Read
the instructions and fill the form. All details like Full name, date of birth,
email id and contact nos., photograph and signature on the form are mandatory
(for new registration only).
Paste a recent passport size photograph in the box provided (Polaroid
photographs not allowed). Attach a Demand draft as per your choice of module (s)
selected. Refer fees table. You can make a consolidated demand draft, for all
the modules selected. Demand draft is to be made in favour of NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE OF INDIA LIMITED payable at the nearest NSE office.
(For those who
have applied for the NCFM tests earlier but may / or may not have taken any NCFM
tests).
Candidates who have taken any NCFM test earlier including Life Insurance
Modules, or FPSB Modules (formerly known as AFP/CFP Exams) are already
registered and the same registration is valid for all the tests. This
registration no. will be printed on the scorecard/ certificate issued to the
candidate after completion of the test. This registration no. is to be written
on the registration form downloaded from the link given above.
Please specify full name, regn no. and date of birth on the form (and address/tel
nos/email id, in case of changes) and sign the form.
Please note Forms are liable to be rejected for the following reasons :
- Incorrect form submitted (i.e. other forms submitted in place of NCFM registration form).
- Registration form not submitted along with demand draft/pay-order.
- Photograph not attached. (For new registrations only)
- Registration Form is not signed by the candidate.
- Contact details i.e. telephone nos or mobile no. or e-mail address not specified.
- NCFM Module name not specified.
- Test Date mentioned is a Saturday, Sunday or a Exchange notified holiday.
The instrument / demand draft is can be returned for reasons such as :
- Instrument is a cheque. Payment is to be made only by way of a Demand draft/ pay-order/ Bankers cheque/ Cashiers order/Managers Cheque. (Not negotiable instruments).
- The name of payee is incorrect. Demand draft should be made payable in favour of “NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE OF INDIA LIMITED”, payable at the nearest NSE office.
- The demand draft is defaced/mutilated/torn etc.
- If it is not payable at any of the NSEIL offices i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad or Hyderabad.
- The demand draft is not signed by the authorized signatory of the bank.
- The validity period of the demand draft has expired or is nearing expiry.
- Demand draft amount is insufficient. (Check the enrollment fees per module).
- Corrections made on the demand draft are not signed by the same authorized signatory of the bank or do not bear the seal of the Bank.
a. Individuals :
Please note that a drop-box facility has been made available at Mumbai office.
Candidates can put the completely filled forms with photograph and payment (DD
favouring “National Stock Exchange of India Limited”) in the drop-box.
Candidates can use the online enrollment facility for selecting of test dates
and time slots.
Candidates who wish to, may courier their forms to The NCFM Dept. at the
following addresses depending on their choice of test centers :
Test Centres :
Study Material (except Corporate Governance Module, Compliance Officers Modules, Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning Module, Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits Module, Investment Planning Module and Tax Planning & Estate Planning Module) will be desptached by courier on payment of fees by candidates, and should reach the candidate in 7 days.
The candidate can also specify the test date and time later by way of fax (There is no compulsion to mention test date and time at the time of registration/ payment of fees).
Kindly note that for Tests at locations other than NSEIL offices, the Exchange
reserves the right to specify the test date, test time and test venue, and
candidates who have submitted the form for the particular location accepts the
test date specified by the Exchange. No re-schedulement and refund is possible.
Candidates need to mention their mobile number on the forms/ requests being
sent. On being scheduled for a test at a particular centre candidates will
receive an intimation for the same by means of SMS. A list of candidates
(respective test centre) is also displayed a week in advance under Tests at
Other Locations – Currently Scheduled Tests. Candidates may check the list at
the website and attend the exam as per the schedule, irrespective of receipt of
intimation.
b. Corporate Sponsors :
Where a Company/Corporate/Organization submits the forms by way of courier on behalf of their candidate(s), the same must be accompanied by the company’s letterhead, giving details of the forms enclosed. A consolidated demand draft for all the candidates’ fees can be submitted. The amount will be deposited in the Company’s A/c. Test Date confirmation can be done by sending a fax on Company’s letterhead.
The onus of informing candidates of the test date and time confirmed with the Exchange rests with the Corporate.
Confirmation of seats or intimation of test date and time will be sent to the
candidates by sms and email. Candidates are required to mention their mobile
number and email id in all their correspondences with the Exchange so that
relevant alerts can be received by them.
A list of candidates whose test dates/seats have been confirmed is also
displayed on the site i.e www.nseindia.com
under NCFM> Announcements>Daily test schedule (for Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai
centres) and under NCFM>Testing>Tests at other locations>List of candidates (for
non-NSE centres).
In case a candidate has not mentioned test date at the time of payment and is
giving the same subsequently, there are two options available i.e either the
candidates can enroll for the test dates online themselves OR can send us the
request offline by fax.
ONLINE – Candidate has to login through his/her user id and go to the
link “Enrollment/Book your seat” and enroll for the test as per his/her
requirement.
OR
OFFLINE – A fax message (in the below format) can be sent on 022-26598393 to
inform the test date required. The candidate/corporate has to sign the fax,
in order to enable processing of the request. In case of corporates, the request
has to be given on the letterhead of the corporate. The best possible
combination available as per) the candidate’s choice will be confirmed, subject
to availability of seats.

On successful completion of the test, a certificate will be mailed to the candidate at the address mentioned in the registration form, within 15 to 20 days from the test date. However, in case of Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning Module, Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits Module, Investment Planning Module and Tax Planning & Estate Planning Module, a certificate will be mailed to the candidate at the address mentioned in the registration form, within 30 to 40 days from the test date.
Candidates who do not receive the certificate may call the help-line and collect the certificate from NSEIL's office between 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. only on week days (Monday to Friday). Candidates who cannot come personally may authorise any person to collect the certificate by presenting an authority letter, giving the name of the authorised representative, and confirming the signature of the bearer of the letter. In case of certificates not received for Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning Module, Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits Module, Investment Planning Module and Tax Planning & Estate Planning Module, the candidate may contact FPSB India at Tel No. 022-66663268 / 66663314 Ext. 17.
