Trading activity on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd was affected today in the last few minutes before close of the market. Members were unable to receive confirmations for their orders during this period.
An analysis indicated that a number of members had got disconnected from the system just prior to this period. The immediate re-logins attempted by the members led to a slowdown of the system. The exchange is analyzing the processes to ascertain the cause of the disconnects.
The system was however made available to the members to receive their end of day downloads for their trade and order activity.

The bonds issued by Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI Flexibonds - 9) to the public through prospectus dated November 14, 2000, shall be made available for trading on the Capital Market Segment of the National Stock Exchange w.e.f. February 28, 2001.
