The press had reports on June 18, 2003 that Jenson & Nicholson (India) Limited has announced the closure of its registered office in Kolkatta.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the press and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Jenson & Nicholson (India) Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The Company has been facing tremendous financial crisis/cash crunch because of continuous heavy losses in business for the last few years. In view of the very high cost involved in running the office, the Company has decided to close down its office situated at 225, A J C Bose Road, Kolkata-20 with effect from 17th June, 2003 and the new address of the Registered Office is: 7B, Middleton Street, 3rd Floor, Kolkata - 700 071."

The press had reports that Himachal Futuristic Communication Limited will be receiving orders from Reliance, MTNL, Tata Infocomm and BSNL and the quantum of the order could be around Rs. 1,400 crores. Further, the company is close to bagging export orders from West Asia and South Africa.

Its customer base include govt./public sector and private sector operators. Receiving orders from the customers for supply of equipment and turnkey services is in the normal course of Company's business and getting such orders do not warrant any specific mention or comment. We request you to please ignore these kind of articles. At the same time, we reiterate that we shall furnish all critical/sensitive information to the exchanges."
