Mutual Fund Service System (MFSS)
MFSS is a fully electronic order
collection system for the Mutual fund industry offered by NSE. Fund houses who
wish to offer their open ended schemes can sign up with the Exchange. This would immediately provide the fund
houses the benefit of more than 150000 exchange terminals which can act as
their point of sale. The facility was
launched on November 30, 2009 and within few days 5 of the large fund houses
have already joined the facility and many more are in the pipeline to go live
very soon. This is a path breaking venture initiated by the Exchange for the
mutual fund industry.
