The Nifty 500 Index represents about 89.87% of the free float market capitalization of the stocks listed on NSE as on September 30, 2026.
The total traded value for the last six months ending September 2026, of all Index constituents is approximately 71.54% of the traded value of all stocks on NSE.

The Nifty 500 companies are disaggregated into industry indices viz. Nifty Industry Indices.
