The site has been developed to provide information to the general public on the daily operations of the Stock Market on an as-is basis.
NSE endeavours to provide reliable, comprehensive, accurate information about the Company, Products and the working of its various Groups/Organizations. Hyperlinks at various places have been provided to the relevant counterparts to aid the visitor in accessing information seamlessly.
The usage of the website is governed by the various Terms of Use, Copyright and Disclaimer policies as laid down from time to time.
It is our endeavour to continue the enhancement and enrichment of this site in terms of content coverage, design and technology on a regular basis.
Following this policy, content is contributed through a Content Management system. The CMS helps provides access to Department Content Managers (DCMs) / Content contributors who are also owners of their information. Content required to be contributed by designated DCMs is content as approved for public domain dissemination. The policy ensures that content is organised in a consistent manner and in compliance with NIC guidelines

NSE provides a role-based Content Management System (“CMS”). This CMS helps the website team in giving role specific access to concerned persons from the relevant departments in NSE, who are the content contributors and the owners of such Content.
In order that all Contents published on the Website/Mobile Application are authentic and up to date, the concerned persons from the relevant departments must check the Content thoroughly for authenticity and accuracy.
In case the User comes across any Content which to the best of their knowledge is inaccurate, misleading, or improperly qualified, User may report the same to Web Information Manager (“WIM”) of NSE using “Contact Us” option available on the Website.
The Content Review Policy ensures that concerned persons form the relevant departments of NSE shall maintain the correctness of their respective Content to be published on the Website / Mobile Application. The concerned persons from the relevant departments are assigned the responsibility for monthly reviewing the respective Content on the Website/ Mobile Application and keep the Content up to date.
Content archival mechanism is in place to ensure that non-current/outdated announcements, circulars, tenders, recruitment notices, news and press releases and moved to archive, at the earliest possible and no longer be displayed on the Website/ Mobile Application.
The Website / Mobile Application shall be monitored from time to time to fix the quality and compatibility issues around the following parameters:
- Performance: Test important web pages for optimizing the download time on sample basis.
- Functionality: Test all modules for their smooth functionality.
- Broken Links: Review it to rule out the presence of any broken links or errors.
- Traffic Analysis: Regularly monitor traffic on the Website/ Mobile Application.
- Feedback: Feedback from the Users is the best way to judge the performance of Website / Mobile Application and make necessary improvements. It shall be the endeavour of NSE, on best effort basis to positively respond to every credible Feedback received.
While monitoring is done on best effort basis, given the sheer volume, fungibility and time sensitivity of the Content, NSE expressly disclaims any warranty in this regard.
The Website/ Mobile Application endeavours to be functional and running at all times to provide information and services to the Users. All possible efforts will be made to minimize the downtime of the Website as and when required.
In eventualities like defacement/hacking of the Website, data corruption, hardware/software crash and natural disasters, all efforts will be made to restore the Website/Mobile Application in the shortest possible time.
NSE takes adequate measures on best effort basis to secure the Website from defacement/hacking of the Website, data corruption, hardware/software crash and it possess security infrastructure as well as devices such as firewalls and intrusion prevention systems for ensuring the same. NSE conducts audit regularly by third party auditors and all the vulnerabilities are sought to be fixed from time to time.
