Background:
As per various SEBI Circulars, it is essential for Trading Members to allot Unique Client Codes to their clients to trade and upload the same to the Exchange. File formats and API Documents pertaining to UCC file structure are provided in the Exchange UCC Master circular reference no. NSE/ISC/73973 dated April 30, 2026.
Based on various queries received from the Trading Members, a detailed FAQ has been prepared which is provided below.
